Baton Rouge - Get Ready for STEM Saturday: 'The Physics of Sound!'

We’re excited to invite you to a FREE STEM Saturday event presented by STEM Baton Rougeand executed bySTEM Global Action!This hands-on event, designed for students in grades K-12, will explore the fascinating world of The Physics of Sound through interactive activities, live demonstrations, and expert-led presentations.

DATE: Saturday, January 25, 2025

TIME: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

LOCATION:Belaire Magnet High School, 12121 Tams Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70815

COST: FREE for students in grades K-12

Students will learn how sound works by building musical instruments or Bluetooth speakers. They also explore how the internet connects things like sensors and devices, which are important for smart cities and homes.
