2024 Benefits Open Enrollment Announcements and Instructions
Benefits Open Enrollment for 2024 is being held from August 12 – August 19, 2024.
Don’t Miss Out! Open Enrollment is your only opportunity to review your current benefit choices and make changes.
Important Information To Know:
To view the benefits and plans being offered this year, please see the attached “City of Baker Schools 2024 Annual Enrollment Guide.”
· Medical Coverage:
– The BCBS Triple Option Medical Plans will continue with no benefit changes and premium changes.
· Dental Coverage:
– The Ameritas Dental Benefits and Premiums will remain the same. There are no changes.
· Vision Coverage:
– The Ameritas Vision Benefits and Premiums will remain the same. There are no changes.
Enrollment Instructions:
· Only employees interested in making changes to their current benefit elections, new hires, or those waiving coverage are required to sign into Employee Navigator. You will receive an automated email from Employee Navigator with instructions on enrolling for the new plan year. Please review your elections/deductions carefully to ensure the information is accurate. We encourage you to print a copy of your benefits summary for your records.

The City of Baker School System has selected Carol S. Dweck, Ph.D.'s book, “Mindset: The New Psychology of Success,” for their fall book club. This thought-provoking book explores the power of mindset in shaping success, personal growth, and resilience. Dr. Dweck, introduces the concept of fixed versus growth mindsets and how they impact learning, achievement, and resilience. In this updated edition, she offers new insights into her famous concept, including false growth mindset, and expands it beyond the individual to apply to groups and organizations.
