60Mbps Radio at Park Ridge
The City of Baker School's System's Wide Area Network (WAN) was engineered to use 30Mbps Wireless Point-to-Point links (60Mbps Radio to support Baker Middle and Park Ridge) and a 100Mbps Radio to support connectivity to all the school sites from the central office. With the implimentation of the CBSS Wireless WAN, our users will have greatly improved support for data, video, and eventually voice transmissions.

In addition to our standard desktop PC's, our teachers have all been given Apple Macbooks to use both on and off site. The Macbooks allow for improved communication between administration and teachers through the use of wireless network connectivity to Email, Instant Messanging, and JPAMS, as well as access to the internet. Communication between teachers, parents, and students will also be improved with teachers being able to design their own webpages in order to provide course related information to students and parents via the World Wide Web.
All City of Baker School System sites provide wireless network/internet access to both students and employees in order to provide our mobile users with the resources needed to complete tasks from anywhere on their respective site.
